Photographer, traveler and illustrator of children's books. A graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where she received her diploma with distinction in 1994. She mainly takes photographs on film, producing small format, black and white images, inspired by her surroundings. She creates timeless, subtle and intimate compositions, presenting interiors and spaces with traces of a human presence. For many years, she has been active in social projects related to art - she has led, among others, workshops for children in Ahmedabad, India, taught photography to young people at the Academy of Photography in Krakow. She runs a photography course at the Cracow University of Technology and conducts photography and illustration workshops for children in galleries and cultural institutions throughout Poland. She is a member of the Union of Polish Art Photographers. She has shown her works at over 20 individual and collective exhibitions. She has been awarded many prizes, such as first prize in the competition "World Friendly To Children" organized by the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights in Warsaw in 2006 and Grand Prix in the competition for children's illustrators Pro Bolonia in 2001.Her work was also honored at The Photographic Project Competition in Santa Fe Center for Visual Arts in the USA and in the International Competition of Art Photography in the Slovakian city of Ruzomberok.
